The VX700 model is part of Toshiba's Cinema Series televisions which includes a smaller 46" VX700 model (standard 2D television) and two varying size 3D televisions (WX800). The VX700 models include the same basic features and functions as the WX800 models with exception to a few added features and of course no 3D vision support. The added VX700 features when compared to the WX800 models include an integrated SD/SDHC card slot for optional media, and two USB ports for connection with USB enabled devices. The identical VX700 features include a built-in 802.11 b/g/n wireless support for use with the Netflix streaming function and VUDU, Facebook, Twitter and social networking sites and HDMI-CEC support for use with a single universal HDMI remote. The device is additionally equipped with 4 HDMI ports, a component input, and a VGA/PC input.
The Toshiba 55VX700 model and additional cinema series televisions will only be available in the United States upon release in Q4 2010.
