Sharp AQUOS LC-40LE700UN
$1,700.00
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Highly configurable picture settings, settings menu is detailed and simple to navigate with the remote. Good picture quality for the price, good viewing angles and colours, with minimal screen reflactions. Good range of in/outputs with plenty of HDMI in/outputs and more traditional component and PC options.
The Cons:Subpar contrast ratio compared to similar products, blacks does not fare well in other reviews. Not all the buttons on the remote illuminates, cost cutting feature, disappointing for a $1000+ TV. Not so good for standard definition sources, very pixelated and blurry, does not scale well on the big screen.
