Samsung UN26C4000
$550.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Colors are bright and vivid and do well in a brightly lit room. Very thin bezel that can sit back against the wall. Uses just 40 watts of power, very efficient.
The Cons:Can handle 720p/1080i but when watching 1080p content things seem a bit less sharp. Noticeable lag when playing games, not right for console gamers. Fast moving video tends to suffer from ghosting and blur.
The Samsung UN26C4000 is one of four budget-friendly LED HDTVs (UN19C, UN22C, UN26C, UN32C) from the 4000 Series released in early 2010. It offers a 26" screen and has a depth of 1.2”. Like its peers, the UN26C4000 lacks the resolution and contrast ratio from the superior 5000/6400 Series models.

It does however boast 2 HDMI ports, as well as composite, component, and Ethernet connections. Unfortunately the UN26C4000 lacks DLNA streaming capabilities, although it does however deliver a 1366x768 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is actually faster than its 5000 Series counterparts.
Additional Information
All 4000 Series models are Energy Star Compliant with a 30% reduction in power usage versus their 2009 predecessors; feature a Touch of Color design that "brings beauty and warmth to every room"; and support Anynet+ one-touch control for all HDMI devices via the included universal remote control.
