Panasonic VIERA TC-42LD24
$1,400.00
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Display's well in a sunny room. Swivel stand works well to ensure your happy with the angle it's on.
The Panasonic VIERA TC-42LD24 is a 42” LED-backlit, 1080p HDTV that, unlike the D2 Series VIERA TC-L42D2, lacks an integrated iPod dock. Otherwise a duplicate, the HDTV set can be used to watching videos via HDMI, PC, Component, Composite; viewing images from an SD card; and controlling all one’s A/V components via a VIERA LINK remote.

Included is a wide-angle IPS panel that’s been enhanced with an energy-saving LED backlight. According to Panasonic, the technology keeps images from fading when viewed from an angle. Plus the VIERA TC-42LD24 boasts 120Hz technology, which takes standard 60Hz signals and converts it to 120 frames/second, thereby allowing for smoother motion images at high resolution.
